Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her appearances on TV shows and films. After beginning her acting career with her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in numerous television series in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen as a character from Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. The actress began her career as a model, appearing in commercials and print ads. Her rise to stardom as a model began while she was working in retail and IT recruitment. In 2016, she was cast to portray an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. She has played her most important role up to the present. In this show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
